Last week we took a leisure walk through botanical garden in Zagreb. Weather was nice and garden was full of blossoming flowers and trees, lush greenery and pleasant scents. The place was also packed with people: families with kids, couples, teenagers making out, photographers, elderly sitting on benches and reading, a group of students with their teacher, an artist painting magnolia flowers in ink, tourists and many more. I took many photos , mostly of flowers since I’m still in phase of drawing mostly abstracted flowers and shapes.

Without much further explanation here are some pictures I took in botanical garden on a lovely Spring afternoon:

  3. Sram me reći, ali ja još nisam posjetila zagrebački botanički vrt, ali tvoje fotke su tako lijepe da su me motivirale da to učinim prvom prilikom! Preko monitora osjećam cvjetne mirise! ;)

  4. I love botanical gardens. The red pavillion is great

  6. Prekrasan je botanički :)

  7. Hvala Tina!

  8. Thank you Lucinda, it was truly a pleasure taking a stroll through the garden!

  9. Lana, ako budeš u prilici svakako ga posjeti. Botanički vrt je prava oaza mira i ugodnih mirisa :)

  10. Janine- I love botanical gardens a s well. The pavilion is actually open for public and I took a little peek inside but it except for a few big plants it was completely empty. The building still looks cool though.

  11. Isidora- pretpostavljam da je to objašnjavanje s čuvarom donekle umanjilo doživljaj botaničkog vrta :)

  12. Lilla Indigo-jeste :)
