Critters standing on a top of a Bear hill!
Video of my mini Moleskine notebook filled with drawings.
I had a lot of fun filling my mini Moleskine notebook with drawings and doodles, I did it in breaks between some more “serious” drawing, painting and running errands. All of the drawings are done from imagination without any pre-sketches or strict ideas of what I’m going to draw. I used a lot of metallic colors, mainly silver and gold and enjoyed combining bight blues, greens and pinks. The colorful the better ![]()

Mr Whiskers loves to climb but he never managed to climb this high! He has no idea how he got up here and has absolutely no idea how to get down either. Oh, my, can somebody please call the firemen or even aviation?
In the meantime while this silly puss in clouds tries to come up with a plan how to get down, I’d like to share a photo of the interview with me that’s been published in the latest issue of Croatian magazine Plan B. Actually, the magazine’s been out on Nov 15th but I didn’t get my hands on a copy until yesterday but better late than never, right? In the interview I answered questions about my illustrations, my average work day, mentioned collaboration with Arlen etc.

I’m also planning to revamp my site a bit, not too much just give it a little face lift so don’t get surprised if some of the pages on my site temporarily disappear because they will appear again refreshened

Few days ago I got a sudden impulse to make paper flowers and use them as props in a photo. Originally I intended to take them outside to the woods because I thought that artificial, paper flowers would look cool in natural environment such as woods but weather haven’t been on my side so I changed my mind and shot this indoors self-portrait with an easel you can see above.
Here are also some a couple of “making of set” photos:
While cutting shapes for flowers I was putting left over paper into this big jar and in the end I like the way it looked so I used it in a photo. You know how they say, one man’s junk is another man’s art or something like that hehe.
Growing a paper garden. On the right you can see “the set”. The little hoses were actually made to be props on another photo called Sing me to sleep ( until now it was posted only on my flickr):

And, in the end here is an illustration inspired by the garden theme:

My response to Illustration Friday topic this week: caged.
Some birds just refuse to be caged!
Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

Octopus says: Let’s be friends! Who wouldn’t want to be friends with an octopus wearing such hip bowler hat?
This is one of my latest drawings, it about 8×6 inches in size (like other two) and the tentacles of the octopus are colored with shiny, glittery pens , so they sparkle under bright light.

Girl loves to hang out in the pink woods. You can’t really see it on a photo, but tress are bright silver and they sparkle as well!

This guy really likes to party and likes his champagne. His cat, however, is not too happy about it. Probably because the guy doesn’t like to share his drink. Cheers!
