As I promised today’s post is a break in posting medusas, hehe.
I’ve always associated December with clear starry nights, cold Winter air, thousands and thousands of little lights and feeling of joy and I wanted to reflect that in today’s illustration.
I’ve got few questions for you. In lately I’ve been thinking how to make this blog a better place and I would like to ask you: is there something specific you’d like to read or see here? This is a drawing I did for a little girl’s birthday present. It was fun using the color combination I usually don’t use: pink+turquoise+blue and to sketch that long pink, “cotton candy” hair and it was even more fun to add a lot of stars and sparkles to make this illustration feel magical and festive!

Originally this is a very big piece (at least for me), it’s over 9000 x 10000 px in size and it took me 4 hours to draw it and probably even more hours to color it but I’m glad it’s done. I also put a secret, encrypted message into it, but since it’s super secret I won’t tell what it is of course
