Since I often try to depict woods or forest in my illustrations and I’m a fan of simplified, abstract shapes I frequently attempt to find different simple ways to sketch a shape of a tree. Here are few of my doodles, experiments in how to represent woods in an (almost) abstract way.

Octopus says: Let’s be friends! Who wouldn’t want to be friends with an octopus wearing such hip bowler hat?
This is one of my latest drawings, it about 8×6 inches in size (like other two) and the tentacles of the octopus are colored with shiny, glittery pens , so they sparkle under bright light.
Girl loves to hang out in the pink woods. You can’t really see it on a photo, but tress are bright silver and they sparkle as well!
This guy really likes to party and likes his champagne. His cat, however, is not too happy about it. Probably because the guy doesn’t like to share his drink. Cheers!
